Call for Posters
Submission is now CLOSED
The IJCAI-05 Program Committee invites submissions for the poster track of the 19th International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence, to be held in Edinburgh, Scotland, 30 July - 5 August, 2005. The poster track is intended for the presentation of work which meets the high standards of the IJCAI conference, but which is more topical and preliminary than the work presented in the main track.
Poster authors should submit a formatted electronic version of their poster no later than Tuesday, February 15, 2005. Submissions received after the deadline or that do not meet the length or formatting requirements detailed below will not be accepted for review. Notification of receipt of the electronic poster will be mailed to the first author (or designated author) soon after receipt. The last day for inquiries regarding lost submissions is February 18, 2005.
Notification of acceptance or rejection of submitted posters will be emailed to the first author (or designated author) by April 1, 2005. Camera-ready copy of accepted posters must be received by the publisher by April 15, 2005. Note that at least one author of each accepted poster is required to attend the conference to present the work.

Poster submissions must be formatted according to the instructions in the call for papers, with the exception that posters must not exceed two (2) formatted pages. Overlength posters will not be accepted for review. Authors are however encouraged to include in their posters references to online material that more extensively illustrates the presented work. The reviewers might optionally refer to this material. Each accepted poster will be allowed two pages in the proceedings.
Electronic poster submissions must arrive no later than midnight GMT on February 15, 2005. Submissions received after this date will not be considered for review. Authors are required to submit their electronic posters in pdf format. Files in postscript (ps), or any other format will NOT be accepted. Authors are required to register on the IJCAI-05 poster submission site. A login and password, as well as detailed instructions about how to submit an electronic paper, will be sent to the author in a subsequent email message. We cannot accept posters submitted by e-mail or FAX.
Submissions of poster versions of full papers which have been submitted to the IJCAI-05 regular paper track are allowed. In this case, the authors must title their poster as follows:
Short version of paper #ID: TITLE
where ID and TITLE are those of the corresponding regular paper.
To facilitate the reviewing process, authors are required to choose one or more appropriate content area keywords as part of the online poster registration. The area keywords are listed in the call for papers.
Poster papers will be subject to peer review. The decision of the Poster Chair will be final and cannot be appealed. Papers selected will be scheduled for presentation in a plenary poster session and will be printed in the Proceedings.
