Tours for Accompanying Guests

Monday 1 August 1400 - 1700 hours
Whisky & Crystal

This tour includes a visit to Glenkinchie Malt whisky distillery. After a tour of the distillery there is a "wee dram" to taste of the end product. This is followed by a visit to the Edinburgh Crystal factory and included a tour of the factory, where visitors can see how crystal is hand engraved.

Tuesday 2 August 0900 - 1700 hours
Scone Palace & Pitlochry

This tour travels from Edinburgh via the Forth Road Bridge to the Kingdom of Fife. The tour will visit Scone Palace on the outskirts of Perth, home to the Earls of Mansfield and ancient coronation site of Scottish kings. After a tour of the Palace and its extensive grounds the tour continues into the heart of the Highlands to Pitlochry, a pretty little town on the River Tummel. There will be free time for shopping and/or independent sightseeing before returning to Edinburgh.

Wednesday 3 August 0900 - 1700 hours
Stirling Castle & Loch Lomond

This tour will travel to Stirling with its imposing castle and then head westwards to Callander. From Callander the tour continues through the Trossachs to the small town of Aberfoyle before embarking on a cruise on Loch Lomond.

Price Per Person: £46.00

Thursday 4 August 0900 - 1700 hours
Traquair House & The Borders

The tour will head South from Edinburgh to the Borderlands of Scotland to visit Traquair House, a house ripe with Scottish History, as it was here that Bonnie Prince Charlie stayed on his march south. When he left in 1745 the Bear Gates were closed and it was said they would never be opened again until a Stewart was on the Throne. They have remained closed. The tour then visits Galashiels with its weaving traditions and will make a stop at Dryburgh Abbey which dates back to the 12th century.

Price Per Person: £46.00

Lunch and refreshments are not included in the price. Tours are based on a minimum attendance of 25 and the organisers reserve the right to cancel any tour that does not reach this number.
